Thanks for taking time to learn more about us.
the Shark Brothers
We were born in steel country. Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Raised in a close family rooted in the Greatest Generation. From our grandparents and parents, we learned what matters, and inherited their respect for self-reliance, and taking pride in our work.
In 1978, southwest Florida became our new home, and so began the adventure of traveling with our parents around this great country. We eventually worked and performed with them. Brooks is a bass player and singer. Sean, a drummer and percussionist.
As a show business family, we toured the United States and overseas with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines on the world’s largest passenger ships. A private tutor traveled with us for over a decade. Teaching us and our brother, Scott.
Meeting and working with people from different countries and cultures in all those places made every day an adventure. We wouldn’t trade those times for anything.
Thanks to those experiences, we later shared the road and stage with some legendary artists. Personal musical influences like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Doobie Brothers, Ben Vereen, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, to name a few.
There weren’t many dull moments. Fox TV once featured our band in an episode of ‘Melrose Place’. Shared a lunch with Heather Locklear that day. What a sweetheart.
In the late 1990s, we settled back in Florida, where more adventure was waiting.
We leveraged our experience, followed our interests, and earned a reputation as award-winning content and event producers, promoters and marketing pros.
Our clients were businesses, television networks, state and local governments, nonprofits and schools.
Along the way, we collaborated on several high-profile, historically significant expeditions and documentaries. Created and produced a landmark annual event, the Guy Harvey Ultimate Shark Challenge. Repossessed and restored the real JAWS boat for the real-life Captain Quint, earning us the nickname. Worked double-duty as hosts and producers of the series, Adventure and Wildlife, and appeared on Discovery Channel Shark Week and National Geographic programs.
These days, we focus our team on providing business growth solutions for the Blue Collar Backbone of America. Local businesses in industries like Home Services, Hospitality, Tourism, Agriculture, and Self-Defense. Great companies driven by people we consider friends. They care about their customers, and take pride in the work they do in the communities we call home.
To still be doing work we enjoy that never feels like a job is something we never take for granted. Neither is family. We both have homes just down the street from our parents, on the shores of the Myakka River in North Port, Florida.
We celebrate the simple thing in life while carrying on traditions and a legacy that keeps us close. After all those miles traveled together and apart, we found our way home. Life is good, and the adventure continues.
